Getting Started
In a nutshell
Pick is an action through which you express your opinion on a specific Event on the Zanlo platform by choosing one of
its possible outcomes. An Event may offer Yes and No, or two named outcomes — for example, the name of a fighter or a
team.
To get started, simply select an Event that interests you, choose an outcome, and confirm the action. The process is
intuitive and requires no prior experience.
Step 1. Find a Topic and Event
On the Zanlo platform:
● Topic is a context or event (e.g., a match, report release, public event);
● Event is a specific question within a Topic. Each Event has exactly two possible outcomes: Yes and No, or two
named outcomes (for example, McGregor and Holloway).
Go to the Home screen where you can:
● select a category;
● open a Topic and view related Events;
● browse popular or active Events.
In the menu, you can use Search to quickly navigate to a specific Topic or Event.
Step 2. How to Read an Event Card
Each Event card contains essential information:
● question formulation;
● current market assessment of each outcome’s probability;
● trading end date (Ends at);
● Trading Volume — the trading volume for the Event;
● current price of each available outcome.
You can make a Pick directly from the list or open the Event to see additional information.
Step 3. Open the Event
Inside an Event, additional data may be displayed if available for that category, including:
● price movement dynamics;
● order book;
● statistical or historical data;
● description of conditions and outcome confirmation logic.
All data is provided for informational purposes and helps you better understand the Event context.
Step 4. Make a Pick
To make a Pick:
1. Tap the outcome you want to pick — Yes or No, or one of the named outcomes.
2. A confirmation screen will open.
3. If needed, select order type (Market or Limit).
4. Specify quantity (qty) of shares.
5. Confirm the action.
After confirmation, the Pick will be placed according to the selected order type.
ℹ️ For more details on order types, see Order Types.
Step 5. Manage Your Picks
All your Picks are displayed in the Portfolio section.
In Portfolio, you can:
● see your picks in active Events and those with confirmed outcomes;
● track order statuses (Buying, Bought, Selling, Sold, Canceled);
● if needed, sell previously purchased shares while trading for the Event remains open.
Important to Remember
● Within one Event, a user can make Picks on more than one outcome — for example,on both Yes and No, or on both
named outcomes. Each Pick is considered a separate action and is displayed in Portfolio.
● A user can, if desired, sell previously purchased shares until trading for the Event is open and the Event has
not transitioned to Waiting for the outcome or Resolved stage.
● After trading closes, buying and reselling shares become unavailable.
● All decisions are made independently by the user.
● Zanlo does not provide recommendations and does not influence user choices.
● Data, charts, and visualizations may come from external sources and are provided for informational purposes.
● A Pick is not a guarantee of a result or outcome.
