In a nutshell
Zanlo is an ecosystem of opinion markets where users express their opinions on pre-formulated questions (Events) within defined contexts (Topics).
The platform provides infrastructure for user interaction, processing their actions, and recording results according to predetermined rules.
Core Elements of Zanlo
Topic
Topic is a context or event that includes one or more questions (Events).
Example Topics include sports matches, public events, product or report releases.
Event
Event is a specific question within a Topic. Each Event has exactly two possible outcomes: Yes and No, or two named outcomes. You choose one of them by making a Pick.
Each Event:
● is formulated in advance;
● has a trading deadline;
● assumes an objectively verifiable outcome.
Pick
Pick is a user action through which they express their opinion on an Event by choosing one of its possible outcomes — Yes or No, or one of the named outcomes.
Each Pick:
● is an independent action;
● is displayed in the user's Portfolio;
● shares purchased within a Pick can be sold before the Event's trading closes.
Event Lifecycle
1) Creation
Events are created and published centrally by Zanlo's editorial team.
Before publication, the following are established:
● question formulation;
● trading deadline;
● outcome confirmation rules.
Users do not create Events independently.
2) Active Stage (Active)
After publication, an Event is in Active status — trading is open.
During this period:
● users can make Picks;
● users can sell previously purchased shares;
● users can place buy and sell orders.
3) Trading Close and Outcome Awaiting
After trading closes for an Event, buying and selling shares become unavailable, and all open orders are canceled.
Then two scenarios are possible:
● Event may transition to Waiting for the outcome stage if the result requires time for confirmation or additional verification. This stage may not always be displayed in the interface and depends on the specific Event.
● Event may transition directly to Resolved status if the result is confirmed without delays or additional waiting.

4) Completion (Resolved)
When the result is confirmed, the Event receives Resolved status, and the winning outcome is recorded (in Yes/No events — Resolved with Yes / Resolved with No).
After this:
● final calculations are performed for held shares;
● the Event becomes part of the user's and platform's history.
How Outcome Prices Are Formed
Outcome prices reflect the current dynamics of user opinions and change as users take actions on the Event.
Important:
● the starting price may be set by the platform when publishing an Event (for example, based on context and available information at the time of creation);
● after launch, prices are formed and change based on user actions;
● the platform does not manually manage price movement during trading and does not interfere with opinion distribution.
At the same time, Zanlo's basic principle applies:
Yes price + No price always equals $1 (or 100%).
The same applies to events with named outcomes — the prices of all available options are always interrelated.
What Does and Doesn't Affect Event Outcome
Event outcome is influenced only by:
● the actual result of the event corresponding to the Event question formulation, confirmed within pre-established rules.
Event outcome is NOT influenced by:
● number of users;
● trading volume;
● ratio of Picks across outcomes;
● public discussions or social activity.
Zanlo's Role as a Platform
Zanlo:
● provides infrastructure for user interaction;
● records actions and Event statuses;
● confirms results within predetermined rules.
Zanlo:
● does not provide recommendations;
● does not express its own opinion;
● does not influence user decisions;
● does not interfere with event outcomes.
Important to Remember
● All decisions on the platform are made independently by users.
● Any data and visualizations are provided for informational purposes.
● The platform evolves, and individual interface elements may change without altering the basic logic.
