In a nutshell
Brier Score is a metric that shows how accurately your Picks match confirmed Event outcomes, considering the timing of their execution.
The lower the Brier Score value, the higher the decision accuracy within already completed Events.
Why Brier Score Is Needed
Zanlo is an opinion markets ecosystem where thinking, analysis, and decision quality matter.
Brier Score helps:
• assess how well your Picks matched actual Event outcomes;
• see how decision timing affects final accuracy;
• track your own dynamics and progress over time.
This metric is widely used in professional prediction markets and data analysis and is available on Zanlo as a self-assessment and activity analysis tool.
How Brier Score Works
Brier Score value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0:
• 0.0 — maximum possible accuracy (all Picks completely matched confirmed outcomes);
• 1.0 — minimum accuracy (Picks did not match confirmed outcomes).
Your personal Brier Score is calculated automatically based on already completed Events and considers:
• chosen outcome;
• Pick price at the moment it was made;
• confirmed Event outcome.
Brier Score is calculated only after Event completion and does not affect trading flow or results.
Important to Remember
• Brier Score is not a forecast and is not used for platform decision-making.
• It does not affect prices, orders, or Event outcomes.
• Brier Score value is intended exclusively for statistics display and analysis.
• Low or high Brier Score does not guarantee future results.
