Why the x multiplier changes

On Zanlo, the x multiplier changes along with the distribution of funds inside the shared pool. While a question is open, users keep making predictions. Each new prediction increases the size of the pool and changes how the funds are split between the answer options. That is what makes the potential multipliers change. How it works Imagine a question with two answer options: - Option A - Option B If most of the funds sit on option A, its multiplier will be lower. If option B holds a smaller portion of the funds, its multiplier will be higher. Important: what matters is not the number of users, but the amount of funds sitting on each answer option. For example, a single $1,000 prediction affects the distribution of the pool more than ten predictions of $20. Why x can go up or down If the pool grows mainly because of new predictions on your answer option, its share of the shared pool grows, and the potential multiplier usually goes down. If new predictions go mainly to other options, your option’s share of the shared pool shrinks, and its potential multiplier can go up. Is x locked in after I make my prediction? No. The multiplier you see at the moment you make a prediction reflects the current distribution of funds in the pool. While the question is open, new predictions from other participants can keep changing that distribution. The final x is determined after the question closes, when no new predictions are accepted. What to keep in mind A changing x is a normal part of how Zanlo works. It shows how the balance of opinion among participants shifts inside the shared pool.

How the payout is calculated

Your final payout depends on the amount of your prediction and on the final multiplier after the question closes. For example: You made a prediction of $100. After the question closed, the final multiplier of the option you chose was x2.4. If the prediction turns out to be correct, the final payout will be: $100 × 2.4 = $240 Of this amount, $100 is the amount of your prediction, and $140 is what you earned on top of it. When the final x is determined While a question is in the Active status, users keep making new predictions, so the distribution of funds in the pool and the potential multipliers can change. Once the question closes, new predictions are no longer accepted. At that moment the final distribution of funds is locked in and the final multiplier is determined for each answer option. How the pool is distributed Once the result is confirmed, the distributable part of the shared pool goes to the participants who chose the correct answer option. Each participant’s payout depends on what share of the funds on the correct option their prediction makes up. The larger your prediction’s share among the funds on the correct option, the larger your share of the final distribution. What else can affect the final payout The final payout can be affected by additional Zanlo mechanics, for example Profit Boost and other temporary or personal multipliers. Their size, limits and terms of use may differ depending on the user’s country, the type of reward and the terms of a specific campaign. The current terms are always shown directly in the platform. Where to see the final payout Once settlement is complete, the result of the prediction and the final payout are shown in the Portfolio section. A more detailed breakdown of credits and other operations is available in the Transaction History section of your account.

How Zanlo determines the result of a question

Once a question ends, Zanlo checks its result and performs the final settlement. Rules of each question The settlement conditions for a specific question are shown directly below the answer options, in the Rules section. Before you make a prediction, read the rules of the question. They may state which event or metric is used to determine the correct answer. What data is used To validate the result, Zanlo uses data from official leagues or other verified sources. The source may depend on the sport, the competition and the type of question. If official data is unavailable or requires additional checks, Zanlo may use another reliable source. Why a result may not appear immediately In most cases the result is confirmed automatically. Extra time may be needed if: - data from the source arrives with a delay; - the result requires additional verification; - information about the event is temporarily unavailable; - data from several sources has to be cross-checked. Until the check is complete, the question may remain in the Waiting status. When the result becomes final Once the correct option is confirmed, the question moves to the Finished status and predictions are settled automatically. After settlement is complete, the result is final and does not change. Responsibility for source data Zanlo uses official and other verified sources, but is not responsible for errors or inaccuracies made by external data providers or by the organizations that publish results. What to do if you disagree with the result If you believe a question was settled incorrectly, contact Zanlo support and specify the exact event and question. Support can check whether the settlement was carried out in line with the rules of the question and the data sources used.

Cancelled, postponed or stopped events

Sometimes an event may be cancelled, postponed or stopped, or it may finish differently from what was planned. In these cases Zanlo settles questions depending on whether their result can be determined unambiguously. If the event is postponed If an event is moved to another time or date, open questions may stay active, be temporarily suspended, or be cancelled. The decision depends on the type of event, the moment it was postponed, and whether the question’s result can be determined correctly. If the event is stopped or interrupted If an event started but was then stopped, some questions may still be settled if their result had already been determined unambiguously before the stoppage. Questions whose result cannot be determined may be cancelled. If the event is cancelled If an event is cancelled entirely and the result of a question cannot be determined, that question may be voided. In this case the funds from the cancelled question are returned to users in line with the platform’s rules. If the result is already known Some questions can be settled regardless of what happened to the event afterwards. For example, if a question referred to a segment of the event that had already finished, and its result can be confirmed, that question may be settled as usual. How Zanlo determines the result Available official and verified data sources are used for settlement. In some cases confirming the result may take extra time, especially if the data from providers differs or requires additional checks. Where to see the status You can see a question’s current status and final result in Portfolio. If a question was cancelled or settled in a non-standard way, the relevant information will be reflected in your transaction history and in the status of the prediction. If you still have questions about a specific event, contact Zanlo support.
